Trip OVERVIEW

Embark on an enchanting journey from Nairobi, Visit Nairobi National Park, the unique reserve close to the city. Begin at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll meet and learn about orphaned baby elephants, and continue to Giraffe Centre to understand conservation efforts for the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. The adventure extends to Amboseli National Park, celebrated for its stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest free-standing mountain. Engage in exhilarating game drives, encountering massive elephant herds along the swamps, offering a close encounter with these gentle giants.

Delight in the opportunity to witness diverse wildlife against the backdrop of the cityscape. The journey crescendos with one of nature’s most captivating spectacles: the Great Migration. From July to October, witness over 1.3 million wildebeest, zebras, and herbivores migrating from the southern Serengeti to the lush Masai Mara. TRIP ITINERARY

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport and after clearing with the customs and immigration department, you will be met by our concierge team who will transfer you to Tamarind Tree Hotel.

After an early breakfast and your trip orientation briefing set out for a full day excursion in Nairobi and visit giraffe center (AFEW) well known for their conservation efforts of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, the Sheldrick wildlife trust is famed for the orphaned baby elephants. Lunch will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch visit the Karen Blixen museum before returning to your hotel.

Overnight stay at Tamarind Tree Hotel (BB)

Early breakfast is served, followed by check out and transfer to the Wilson Airport to catch your morning flight to Amboseli National park. Upon arrival you will be met by your driver guide and drive to your lodge with game drive en route. Amboseli is famous for its swamps and the big herds of elephants together with the majestic views of Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa (19341 ft) and the world’s free standing mountain that form the backdrop of Amboseli national park. There is plenty of game ranging from wildebeest, zebras, gazelle, hippo, lion and cheetah and the bird life is prolific with over 360 different species. Return to your lodge by sunset.Check in at the lodge, lunch is served and after a short siesta depart for your evening game drive returning to your lodge as the sun sets.

Guests will spend a full day in Amboseli National Park and enjoy an early morning game drive, returning to the Lodge for breakfast and thereafter depart for a mid morning game drive till lunch, or an optional tour to a local maasai village. After lunch enjoy some rest or relax by the pool before departing for an evening game drive returning to your lodge by sun set.

Breakfast is served followed by a transfer to Amboseli airstrip for your early flight to Nairobi – Wilson Airport, where on arrival you will connect to your scheduled flight to maasai mara national reserve. On arrival you will be met by your driver guide and transfer to Sarova Mara Camp with game drive en-route for check in, lunch and probably after lunch, have a short break before embarking on your evening game drive, returning to your camp as the sun sets.

After breakfast depart with picnic lunches as you have another full day to explore the magic of the rolling plains of the masai Mara National reserve famous for the annual wildebeest migration one of the “seven wonders of the world” it is native to the Mara River in Kenya. The masai Mara is home to the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, Buffalo and the rhino) plus plenty of other plains game, not to mention of the over 350 different bird species found there.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Keekorok Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, our representative will escort you to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward arrangements or to Ole Sereni Hotel for a day room before your departure from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
