The provision of services to the participants by Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd will be subject to, inter alias, the following terms, and conditions.
All prices shall be in U.S dollars based on two persons sharing a twin/double bed. Single rooms are available at a higher price than those occupied by two participants sharing the cost. There is an additional single supplement cost. Children’s rates are also available upon request. The rates chargeable include expenses for the services quoted as per each itinerary and quoted based on prevailing costs at the time of publication or personalizing / customizing the trip. The company is under no obligation to furnish a breakdown of the quoted package.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd reserves the right to increase trip prices to cover any increased costs, tariffs, and taxes received after the prices are published. Travelers should be flexible in the event of an inventory change due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd such as but not limited to overbooking of hotels, camps, and lodges. All expenses of personal nature are not included including but not limited to; personal insurance, cancellation covers. International flight, visa fees, passport, alcohol, communication charges, laundry, guides gratuities, excess baggage, international departure taxes, meals other than stated, etc. Final payment should be made on time and if we don’t receive due full payment on time, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled and cancellation terms will apply.
To be signed for the tour, a 30% deposit will be required at the time of booking and the balance thereof has to be paid 60 days before the departure date. Booking made within 60 days prior to the date of departure, will be subject to full payment at the time of reservation.
Cancellation charges are cancellation penalties and fees imposed to us by our suppliers who are not limited to (hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, park & conservancies, and transporters), etc. Cancellations prior to travel days are subject to a certain percentage per person cancellation penalty fee after the booking is confirmed plus bank charges for credit card or wire transfer. All requests to cancel confirmed reservations must be made in writing via email to info@untouchedwildernesstrips.org and AND receipt of the cancellation must also be confirmed in writing by Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd. If there is no acknowledgement of the cancellation from Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd, it means that your cancellation notification has not been received and therefore not valid.
Cancellations received more than 120 days prior to start date of the trip are subject to an administrative fee of $ 300:00 per person. The balance of your deposit will be refunded to you.
Cancellations received 120-60 days before the start date of the trip are subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total tour cost or use Future Trip Credit.
Cancellations received 59-30 days before the start date of the trip are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total trip cost or use Future Trip Credit.
Cancellations received 29 days or less before the start date of the trip are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total trip cost. Future Trip Credit doesn’t apply.
Cancellation for Gorilla Trekking permits in either Uganda and/or Rwanda which are quoted separately attracts a 100% cancellation fee.
Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended. There shall be no refunds for unused portions of the program/itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances and/or circumstances beyond the control of Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd resulting in cancellation or termination of the tour, such as but not limited to sightseeing excursions, meals and or other pre-arranged services. Refunds are limited to the amounts stated in our cancellation policy.
Can be offered in case you might not be able to travel on the specific dates as per agreed itinerary and you are ready to postpone your booking for the next twelve months from the date it is incited depending on the availability and subject to quote change. Some services once booked cannot be postponed and you will be advised on the same before you make your decision. Future Trip Credit doesn’t include Gorilla trekking permits.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of baggage or personal belongings, nor for personal injury, accident, or illness. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance covering trip cancellation and interruption, lost or damaged baggage, medical, etc. Baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the trip unless insured.
Every participant must be in possession of a current passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure and should have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. Obtaining a passport and travel visa is the responsibility of each participant. Failure to have a valid Passport, Travel Visa, Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, Valid Covid 19 certificate, and any other required travel document may result in denied travel by your airline to leave your country. No refund will be offered in such a case.
Health regulations for some countries may require proof of inoculation and/or vaccination certificate which should be in your possession throughout your trip. Due to Covid 19 pandemic, most countries require proof of a negative Covid 19 test and/or Covid 19 vaccination certificate. Yellow fever vaccination proof is a requirement when visiting East Africa Countries.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd strongly recommends that you consult with your personal physician for additional information. You may also visit the CDC (centers for disease control and prevention} website at www.cdc.gov.
As a traveler with Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd you are responsible for selecting a trip package which fits your health and ability of movement and all activities involved. This is because there are certain inherent risks to; walking, hiking, climbing, trekking, altitude sickness, wild animals etc. You are also able to read and understand the pre-travel information which includes the Travel Terms and Conditions. Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd, its employees, shareholders, officials, directors, successors, agents, and all affiliates ( herein referred to as Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd) acts only in the capacity as an agent for, hotels, safari lodges, tented camps, restaurants, airlines, sightseeing, and other pertinent services and does not own any of those and in no way shall be held liable in the event of failure by any person or company to render services to the participants, nor shall they be held liable for any negligent or willful act by any such person or company.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd ” contract with the travelers shall always be governed by the laws of the country in which the trip is operating. You understand and agree that no claims will be considered and that you will not bring suit against Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd unless you have first provided written notice of claim to Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd within 30 days after the trip or cancellation of the trip. Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd, reserves the rights to subcontract any, all, or part of the services. Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd reserves the right to terminate or withdraw any traveler of the trip at any given time. When such action is determined by an authorized representative of the company at that particular time to be in the interests of the health, safety, and geeral welfare of the trip group or of the individual traveler. You are responsible for any damages or loss caused by you and full payment for such damages and/or losses must be paid directly to the complainant or the service supplier. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the traveler at all times and we highly recommend each traveler to have Travel Insurance before the start of any trip with Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd cannot be held responsible for any additional cost incurred by participants, apart from what is quoted in the itinerary, due to missed, canceled, or delayed flights, or omissions beyond its control. All such expenses will have to be borne by the travelers. Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, without limitation to loss, injury, accident, damage, attack by animals, sickness, lack of appropriate medical facilities, weather, acts of God, computer problems, terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, theft or other criminal acts, death in connection with accommodation, transport, any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers or any other service beyond its control including but not limited to negligence or breach of contract of any third party. Whilst we will endeavor to comply with any special requests we receive (such as specific dietary requirements or specific rooms and will pass any special requests to the relevant supplier. However, we are unable to guarantee compliance with such requests and are not liable for any loss suffered in the event of such requests not being complied with).
In regard to credit card payment for trip services with Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd the traveler (and or cardholder or card holder authorized representatives} will not hold Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd and its employees, agents, and or its representatives responsible for any other transaction apart from what has been authorized to Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd on the credit/debit card charge authorization form. Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd reserves the right to take photographs and videos during the tour for use in promotional materials. The Company reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing or any other advertising material. The traveler hereby gives consent to use such photographs and authorizes the Company to retain the copyright for these photographs and such material. Any traveler who prefers that his/her image not be used for marketing purposes is asked to make their request known in writing prior to departure.
Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions in its published materials and to amend these Travel Terms and Conditions at any time as the result of any material changes to legislation or regulation. All amended Travel Terms and Conditions shall automatically be effective upon being posted by Untouched Wilderness Trips Ltd to the website www.untouchedwildernesstrips.com accordingly, travelers should check the website www.untouchedwildernesstrips.org prior to travel in order to ensure they are aware of any changes.
