Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative warmly greets you and ensures a seamless transfer to Kigali Serena Hotel. Nestled on one of Kigali’s charming boulevards, this five-star hotel, surrounded by Rwandese cultural art, offers a night of comfort on a bed and breakfast basis.

Start the day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel and a pick-up at 09:00 for a City Tour of Kigali. Explore the Gisozi Genocide Memorial sites, Richard Kandt Museum, and local markets. Later, journey to Gisenyi, arriving to witness a picturesque African sunset over Lake Kivu. Enjoy a two-night stay at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel, serenely located on the lake’s shores.

Embark on a thrilling Gorilla Tracking expedition at 05:00, with a carefully prepared breakfast box to sustain you. Receive a briefing at 07:00 and join a Gorilla Tracking Group for an unforgettable encounter with the mountain gorillas. After an hour with these magnificent creatures, return to the base and then to the hotel. Volcanoes National Park, with its rich history and diverse wildlife, provides an awe-inspiring backdrop.
Important Note: Hikers should be prepared for up to 6 hours of walking a day, and personal hiking gear is recommended.
Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel
After breakfast, depart for Kigali, arriving in the early afternoon. Optionally indulge in a farewell lunch at Kigali Serena Hotel before your transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
